LOOKUP, RESET BORROWER INFORMATION - CONSUMER CONNECT (KB00017)
There are times when a borrower will forget their USERNAME, need their ACCOUNT UNLOCKED or need their PACKAGE LINK. Every Loan Officer has the ability to look for loans and see the USERNAME, UNLOCK ACCOUNT and get PACKAGE LINK. This capability allows you to assist your borrower in logging in to the system , signing disclosures etc.
Log into Consumer Connect
On the HOME tab of Encompass, click on the Manager your Consumer Connect Portal (on the right hand panel of the Home tab).
Lookup Borrower
The page will open up with the BORROWER LOOKUP highlighted. You can enter a Loan Number (or change the drop down to Username, Borrower Email, or First and Last Name) here and click the search icon to find a borrower.
Click the magnifying glass icon to search and the users account information displays.
The user information will populate and you can identify the user name, unlock account or get package link
To get package link, hover over the 3 dots to the right and click on the link. A Screen will open and you can copy the link and send to your borrower.
Unlock Borrower Account
If the borrower had a loan previous to the one you are currently working on, you can use that to look up the information
